The standard every future review meets
- Full text, real name (with permission), source, and date — no anonymous blurbs, no paraphrasing into marketing copy.
- Never incentivized. No payment or perks for reviews, and any material connection between a reviewer and this site is disclosed next to their words.
- Negative experiences qualify. If this site steered someone wrong, the criticism belongs here and the page that caused it gets corrected.
The federal floor under those rules
The four standards above are house rules, but they sit on top of a federal one. In 2024 the Federal Trade Commission finalised a dedicated rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, and it is unusually direct about what counts as a violation:
…a violation of this part for a business to write, create, or sell a consumer review… that materially misrepresents, expressly or by implication: (1) That the reviewer or testimonialist exists…

This page treats that as the floor, not the target. The rule forbids inventing a reviewer; the standards above go further and require the reviewer's own words, their name with permission, the platform, and the date. The gap between those two bars is where most builder-marketing pages live.
Why an empty page is the honest one right now
This site published its first pages on 2026-08-11, which is a matter of days ago at the time of writing. A brand-new site with a wall of glowing testimonials has, arithmetically, either bought them or written them — there has not been time for anything else. So the page stays empty, dated, and specific about what will fill it.
That has a practical use beyond principle. When you are comparing builders for an Island Park project, the reviews question worth asking is not "how many" but "where do they live and can I reach the person who wrote them." A builder's own reputation belongs on platforms they do not control, under names you can contact. The builders page points at each builder's own published materials for the same reason: sources you can check beat claims you cannot.

Why are there no reviews on this page?
Because the site launched on 2026-08-11 and nobody has reviewed it yet. An empty reviews page dated honestly beats a page of manufactured praise. As real people use the site and its callbacks, their words will appear here.
What will a review on this page look like?
Full text, the reviewer's name shown with their permission, the platform it came from, and its date. Nothing paraphrased into marketing copy, and nothing undated.
Will reviews ever be paid for or incentivized?

Are these reviews of the builders, or of this site?
Of this site and its guidance. The builders covered by this site earn their own reputations under their own names; when the builder comparison page publishes, it will point to where each builder's own reviews live.
How do I leave a review?

Can a negative experience be published here?
Yes. Cherry-picking only praise would make this page decoration. If something on this site steered someone wrong, the correction and the criticism belong here — and the page it affected gets fixed, with its dateModified updated.
Who verifies the reviews?
Kjel Jones, the named operator of this site, verifies that every published review comes from a real interaction — a call, a callback, or a builder introduction that actually happened. Anonymous drive-by quotes do not get published.
When will the first reviews appear?
When they are real. The site's first callbacks are happening now, in the August 2026 launch season; if those people choose to be quoted, this page changes — and its visible date will change with it.
